Governor Matt Blunt traveled to St. Louis to present a proclamation to Dollar-Help, marking Sept. 25, 2007 as Dollar-Help Recognition Day in the state of Missouri.
On behalf of Dierbergs Markets, Laura Dierberg Padousis accepts an award of recognition from Dollar-Help president Dennis Kelley. Dierbergs has donated in-kind services and promotional support to Dollar-Help for several years, and will once again sponsor Warmthgiving Weekend.
Doug Yaeger gave credit to Laclede Gas customers for supporting Dollar-Help over the last 25 years. More than $14.5 million has been raised -- most of it from customers -- since Dollar-Help was started in 1982. In FY 2007, for the first time in it's history, Dollar-Help raised more than $1 million.
Linebacker Will Witherspoon is once again supporting Dollar-Help this winter by helping to promote Warmthgiving Weekend, where children are encouraged to host hot chocolate stands to raise funds for Dollar-Help.

Dollar-Help Vice-President Rabbi Susan Talve has been involved with Dollar-Help for more than 15 years. She is the rabbi for Central Reform Congregation.
